COVID-19 Guidelines for Students

Current guidelines for students who feel symptomatic and later test positive for COVID-19. Please note - these are recommended actions from the California Department of Public Health.

RESPIRATORY VIRUSES - COVID, FLU, RSV

Students who have tested positive for respiratory viruses are recommended to pay close attention to their symptoms and stay home when they have a fever and/or feel ill. Students may return to school when they start to feel better, meaning that if symptoms are mild and improving, and they have not had a fever for a full day (24 hours) without the use of fever reducing medication. All students who have respiratory viruses should wear a mask around others indoors for 5 days from when fever free or after symptoms have started improving.
