Beef Recall Message |

According to the California Department of Education and a Department of Public Health food safety alert, there has been a beef recall. Luckily our district has not been hit that hard. We were only serving cheese burgers once a week at the Junior High, and once a month at the elementary schools. At the time of the recall (as per my conversation with a state representative) we had 10 cases of pre-cooked beef patties that could possibly be tainted and will be destroyed. At this time we will not be serving any beef products at either of the elementary schools or the Junior High for the remainder of the school year.
