Public Review of the Healdsburg 20/20 Plan -
J. Harding (1/14/10)

The purpose of the Healdsburg 20/20 plan is to provide a vision for the District. It will guide us in establishing priorities and setting our course over the next several years. An inclusive, far-reaching process was conducted over the past six months. More than 400 people, including parents, students, community members, faculty and support staff participated! Their input was synthesized into the draft document which is available here Download the 20/20 Plan here.

The current plan is for the Healdsburg 20/20 document to be finalized and brought to the Board of Trustees for approval later this Spring. Activities from the plan will be developed into an action plan on an annual basis. A sample of the action plan is Download the sample Action Plan here. The action plan will guide the day-to-day priorities and will ensure the implementation of the overarching goals and strategies.

Public review of the draft document, the Healdsburg 20/20 plan, formally began at a Special Board meeting held on January 13, 2010. Discussion of the draft will continue over the next few months’ board meetings starting with the next regular Board meeting on Wednesday, January 20, 2010.

Between now and the end of February, we invite the overall HUSD community’s reaction and feedback to the plan. Please review the document and direct any comments you may have to Jeff Harding, Superintendent at 431-3488 or jharding@husd.com

Superintendent Jeff Harding outlines measures that families can take to help keep all of our children healthy. We are hoping that, by working together, we’ll all stay healthy this year!  Letter in English                     and Letter in Spanish

Transitioning into
Basic Aid Status

The Healdsburg Unified School District is going through a major transition in our funding model. This change has shifted how we see our enrollment and created the need for new policies. Please read this article   by Superintendent Jeff Harding answering some key questions regarding our new status as a "Basic Aid" district. It originally ran in the Healdsburg Tribune in June, 2009.
