School to Community Connection

The HUSD Superintendent's Communications Committee is composed of parent volunteers, teachers and school board members. The committee meets regularly during the school year to identify and improve communication needs within the school district, to produce literature and web content for the public and to develop methods for the school district to receive information back from the community. The committee assists with the HUSD column published in the Healdsburg Tribune and with other publications such as the HUSD brochure outlining the best features of our schools.

The committee meets August through May in the office of the Superintendent. All are welcome to attend the meetings.

For more information, please contact Patti Jobson, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent at 431-3488, parent volunteers Julie Conklin (486-4914) or Joyce Jensch (433-6388), or or e-mail the committee at communications@husd.com.

Suggestion Box submissions
This committee has placed Suggestion Boxes in each school office to encourage students and parents to make comments, suggestions and observations about school activities. The committee is committed to researching and responding to all suggestions placed in these boxes in a timely manner.  You may find our responses listed here.
