School Board Vacancy
There is a wonderful new opportunity for someone in our community to
make an impact on Healdsburg schools. This year two seats of the
Healdsburg Unified School District Board of Trustees came up for
election. Only a single applicant applied so she was appointed to one
seat automatically. The other seat will be appointed for a four-year
term by the existing Board this fall.
If you are interested in making a real difference in the quality of
public education in Healdsburg, please step forward and apply for this
position. This would be a great chance for someone on a Site Council or
other committee to step up to a bigger role. It may also be a great
entry for a dedicated volunteer who wants to make a difference. The
appointment will be decided after interviews with interested candidates.
Applications are available at the District Office and on the school
website at www.husd.com.
Candidates must submit their application by Oct. 6, 2004. For more
