Issue 53 Having Difficulty With Your School Bulletin Subscription? If you are not receiving the school bulletins that you need or are receiving some that you no longer need, here are some tips on how to correct your subscription. • If you are not receiving any bulletins at all, go to your school’s website and follow the directions for adding yourself to the mailing list. Links to all school websites can be found at www.husd.com. If, while signing up, you receive an error message saying that you are already subscribed, the problem may well be that your e-mail provider is blocking our bulletins in an effort to stop spam. These days many e-mail providers are being very aggressive in blocking mass mailings in order to stop the flood of spam. You should contact your provider and request that they allow mailings from HUSD@lb.bcentral.com to get through to you. If they are unwilling to do that, you can obtain a free e-mail account from such providers as www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com. And you can always find the current bulletins on the school websites. If you are still having problems, contact us to let us help you. We may be reached by e-mail at webtech@husd.com, by phone at 433-8755 or by postal mail to Pat Louvau, HUSD, 1028 Prince St., Healdsburg, CA 95448. Include your name, your e-mail address, and preferred school(s). • If you have a new e-mail address and want all bulletins to go to the new address, go to your school’s website and follow the directions for adding yourself to the mailing list. Links to all school websites can be found at www.husd.com. The subscription for your old address will drop off automatically. • If your child has moved on from one school to the next and you need to change your subscription, go to your e-mail program and find a previously received bulletin from any of the schools. Click on the link at the very bottom of the message. Although it says that this link is for “unsubscribing”, click on it anyway. This link will take you to a page where you can make any needed changes to your subscription. You may add and remove schools or completely remove your e-mail address from all subscriptions. If you have any difficulty with this procedure or can’t find an old bulletin, contact us to let us help you. We may be reached by e-mail at webtech@husd.com, by phone at 433-8755 or by postal mail to Pat Louvau, HUSD, 1028 Prince St., Healdsburg, CA 95448. Include your name, your e-mail address, and preferred school(s). Mark Your Calendar For The Lotsa Pasta Music Program Fundraiser Dinner The Healdsburg music boosters organization B.O.P.
