Overview

The Healdsburg Unified School District is on the move!  We are continuing to make significant strides in…

  • Providing an academically-rigorous education to 1700 students
  • Integrating technology into instruction across the board from Kindergarten through 12th Grade
  • Developing a strong connection between students’ K-12 experience and life after graduation through classes such as STEM, Digital Media, Computer Science, Construction and Sustainability Academy and Culinary
  • Updating our facilities through new construction and upgrades to better prepare students for life in the 21st century

Our secondary program consists of three schools:

  • Healdsburg High School: our flagship school serving students in grades 9-12
  • Marce Becerra Academy: a small alternative high school serving students in grades 10-12
  • Healdsburg Junior High: our middle school serving students in grades 6-8

Our elementary program offers two choices:

  • Healdsburg Elementary School: delivers a more traditional education focusing on the mastery of English Language Arts and Math
  • Healdsburg Charter School: emphasizes hands-on, project-based learning integrating academic subjects, technology and , visual and performing arts

Attendance Area

Our District encompasses a large geographic area covering many square miles. Within this geographic area, there are separate and distinct school districts serving elementary school students: the Healdsburg Unified School District along with the districts of Alexander Valley and Westside whose K-6 students attend either Alexander Valley Elementary School or Westside Elementary School.

After 6th grade, Alexander Valley and Westside School students join Healdsburg Junior High in 7th grade and continue through 12th grade as part of the Healdsburg Unified School District.

Please see the attached PDF document to view the attendance boundaries for the Healdsburg Unified School District.
